About Mission Hills Endodontics

Located at 1000 W Washington St STE 2, San Diego, CA 92103, Mission Hills Endodontics operates as an endodontist serving San Diego in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as dentist, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Around San Diego, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across California are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 7 am–4 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Mission Hills Endodontics at (619) 295-3456; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is missionhillsendodontics.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

I started experiencing moderate tooth pain due to an infected root, and my general dentist referred me to Mission Hills Endodontics. From the moment I called, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they were able to fit me in as soon as possible. Dr. Cameron Stout took excellent care of me, explained the procedure clearly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire root canal. The whole team was professional, compassionate, and made what could have been a stressful experience much easier. I’m very grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend Mission Hills Endodontics to anyone in need of exceptional endodontic treatment.

Dr. Stout is an honest and up-standing doctor, he initially tried to fix my tooth pain from a crown using non-invasive methods, before unfortunately finding a root canal was needed. I was very anxious but the process was incredibly easy, painless, and I felt I was in great hands from start to finish. Compared to my experience getting a crown at the dentist, the root canal was 100 times smoother. Highly recommend!

Finally, I have found the Endodontist who rates the highest of them all (not that I’ve been to more than a few prospects). Dr Stout is kind, extremely knowledgeable, patient, efficient and honest. And, his staff is also the best. Thank you, Dr Stout!

This was unfortunately my third root canal, but my first at this office and with Dr Hens (Done in Feb 2025) I certainly get anxious despite having had the procedure before. I also have a bad jaw so the procedure can be pretty hard. Dr Hens was so phenomenal and office was lovely. The procedure was as smooth as it could be and my body felt much less stressed than in previous ones i’ve had. Really thankful for finding a trusted Endo in the area! My dentist complimented the tooth too!

Seriously cannot recommend this place enough!!! The entire staff is so friendly and makes sure you understand the entire process from finances to the procedure. I got a 2 part root canal with Dr. Hens and I felt no pain at either visit. Even the aftercare has been extremely painless and no soreness. I’m beyond impressed and feel so much better. Dr. Hens checks in with you throughout the process and makes sure you’re informed on the procedure and are comfortable. 10/10 recommend!!
